The Private Birding Cabin is designed to be the ultimate birding retreat for one couple. It has a single bedroom with a king-sized bed, a luxurious bathroom with clean hot water, a living/dining room with a kitchenette, and a fabulous porch area with a jacuzzi and views to forest edges, the Andes, and gardens designed to attract our most photogenic birds. The cabin is oriented so the light is just right for afternoon photography.
This layout was designed so that you can spend the morning touring SSF’s gardens, trails and morning photography hides, and then in the afternoon, relax in Eden-like privacy while still enjoying the birds. You have your choice of having your meals communally at the Ranch House, or served in the cabin, or you can even prepare your own food if that is your preference. We’ll stock the fridge and pantry with whatever provisions you request.
Construction of the private birding cabin will be completed in December 2026.
